My First birthday

I was born on 23rd of July but as it was a weekday my parents decided to celebrate my birthday on the 25th of July in a function hall......As per their plans they booked Dickens Heath village hall for the party.....

Subbu mama had sent nice invitation cards printed with the party details.....amma and appa distributed the cards to all friends and relatives well in advance.....Food was arranged with Chef Vijay.....the menu goes this way

Starters: Fried idli and aloo tikki

Main Course: Bisibelabath, Cashewnut pulau, Poori and Curd rice

Side dish: Veg. Kurma, Bhagara baingan

Others: Pickle, papad

Dessert: Gulab jamun and vanilla ice cream

Hmmmmm.......mouth watering right???????

The birthday cake was ordered in Jimmy spice.......they make yummy cakes....i loved them...

You know the speciality in our costume????? All three of us were dressed in blue......

Prabhu mama, Sibi mama and Vinod mama decorated the hall with colour papers, balloons and my photos too........The hall looked simply superb........

All guests started to arrive and we started the party by giving all annas and akkas face mask, party poppers, whistles and party hats.......

The cake cutting was started by lighting the musical candle sent by Subbu mama and amma cut the candle with the musical knife....all started to sing the 'happy birthday' song and the hall was filled with excitement.....Kavya akka and Veebha aunty sprayed the party streamer and foam and bursted the poppers.......

Then Siva mama cut the cake into pieces and gave all the guests alongwith chips.......i had my piece too........yummy..........

While the guests were having their dinner, amma and appa started to distribute the return gifts to the kids and to all uncles and aunties..........everybody liked the gifts and the party and wished me luck.....The day was full of fun......

The big task was yet to start......yes the cleaning part........thanks to all uncles and aunties who attended the function and and to all who helped us in all ways.........
